AlwyasOn VPN Instalation and Migration

I've successfully replaced the discontinued DirectAccess application with Microsoft Always On VPN and have extended its use to active users, including deployment to MacOS computers both in and out of the domain through Intune. This project involves several key components, including migration, deployment, and management of the Always On VPN solution. 

1.    Objective:
•    Replace the discontinued DirectAccess application with Microsoft Always On VPN.
•    Extend Always On VPN usage to active users.
•    Deploy Always On VPN to MacOS computers both within and outside the domain using Intune.

2.    Scope:
•    Migration from DirectAccess to Always On VPN.
•    Integration of Always On VPN for active users.
•    Deployment of Always On VPN on MacOS devices using Intune.

3.    Infrastructure Setup:
•    Install and configure Always On VPN servers.
•    Configure VPN profiles for different user roles.
•    Ensure necessary network infrastructure changes for VPN connectivity.

4.    Migration from DirectAccess:
•    Develop a migration plan for users currently using DirectAccess.
•    Communicate migration schedule and instructions to users.
•    Execute migration, ensuring minimal disruption.

5.    User Training and Communication:
•    Provide training sessions for users on the new Always On VPN setup.
•    Develop documentation and FAQs for self-help.
•    Establish a support channel for user inquiries.

6.    Always On VPN Deployment for MacOS:
